My first Job ....

Definitely a great feeling to write about your first job.

Had one week orientation in Mumbai, its a kind of boring presentations etc i will skip this part and nothing interesting to write about may be sometime when i have to fill pages i will write about that part :P ...

So, to begin with i was sent to hosur (coffee plant). I was but in a average hotel, but to me it was great , because there had been a time where i had no place to stay and i had to a night in Railway station and bus stand. When i reached bangalore i had a cab booked for me to go to hosur and that was a strange feeling to go alone in a cab, when my whole life was spend traveling in "share autos".

Skipping the formalities part in the factory, in couple of weeks i started to understand the system.
Seeing the operators and their wages in the company i felt that they are exploiting them was relating back to my histroy class from 7th garde about industrial revolution . Then seeing a bigger picture of myself i realized i am also a worker , but at least they have a union and we dont have it, and then going further my boss also reports to some and he too stand up and call "Yes Sir" while answering his boss call. So, i came to conclusion that corporates exploit people. But the even the CEO of the company is answerable to someone(stake holders) but then every other company in every other country operates the same way.

But one incident changed my view partly ... The was one operator who was struggling with a old modeled lift which generally gets tripped every now and then. I told him to tell the to inform the electrical department after half an hour i saw him he was still pressing the lift button. Slowly as days passed in the factory came to understand why one is still a operator for years and the other manages the entire factory. There is something that differentiates an operator from a manager and a manager to a CEO and that difference is that defines a "Leader".

More on next part....

I will definitely go deep in the next part as my tutor says :P ....
